Jan Klata
Transfer !

The Polish “punk director” Jan Klata dares to tackle one of the most difficult chapters in German-Polish history in an unusual way. Taking the city of Breslau/ Wroclaw as an example, “Transfer!” tells of flight, expulsion and relocation as a result of the war unleashed by National Socialist Germany. German and Polish witnesses to history tell of their childhood experiences. Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin, who – in upholding the resolutions of the Yalta Conference – subject entire areas to a change of inhabitants, are enthroned above the stage as a morbid rock band.

Duration: 2 hours, no break.
